Bench

$140

This bench is made from reclaimed barn beams and board. Dimensions are 50"Lx12 1/2"W x19 1/2"H. The only part sanded is the bench top. No polyurethane was used but could easily be added with some time. If you are looking for rough and rugged this is a wonderful bench for a table or mud room.

My dad was a school teacher and in the summer he always had wood projects to do for friends, family, gifts, or hired to build something. I always thought I went with him because he didn't want to leave me at home alone or pay for a sitter. What I didn't know was that he taught me a lot even though I always found a way to play at project sites or in the workshop. With a lot of the projects we would use wood that was lying around so we didn't have to go out and buy new stuff all the time.

I have always tried to use as much of what I had lying around to do a lot of my projects so when it came time to renovate my basement I knew I didn't have enough in my workshop. I found the first person that would let me take their old barn down to use as the trim work in my basement. Ever since then my love for restoring the past into a beautiful future has been my goal for all my projects.

I specialize in making almost anything out of barnwood beams and boards. A lot of my work was never photographed so please send a request and I'm sure I can help you out in some way.

Another one of my specialties is making custom name logs with just a chainsaw and sandpaper. At last minute for a gift for a friends wedding I just carved their last name into a log from a tree I cut down and it has sprung from there.

I take a lot of pride in the products I make for a customer. If I get halfway done and don't like it…to the burnpit it goes and start from scratch.

Thanks for reading and I would be proud to help you out with anything.
