Some signs we sand the edges to give it a more rustic look but if you would prefer not to have the edges sanded just let me know at checkout. We protect all of our signs with a Poly Acrylic Matte finish. A saw tooth hanger is attached to the back for easy hanging. If you wish to use your sign as a shelf sitter let me know at checkout and I will not attach a hanger. We use a variety of woods such as (Ash, Poplar, and Pine) which we purchase from several local sawmills in NY.. Our larger signs are made from cabinet grade oak plywood to prevent your sign from warping.
