Reclaimed Wood And Plastic Storage Cabinet
Handmade in New Orleans, Louisiana by Cut Twice Design & Fabrication
The design of this large storage cabinet stemmed from some old drop ceiling lighting panels I found at a local thrift store. The became the basis for the doors and everything just kind of formed around that. Besides the screws, glue and nails, everything on this cabinet is reclaimed. It's a monster - standing 8.5' high and 5' wide.

Abigail Willets
Cut Twice Design & Fabrication
Abby grew up in New Hampshire, splitting her time between her mom’s sewing room, her dad’s wood shop and of course, the great outdoors.
As time went on, Abby got caught in the grind of corporate America, but, thankfully, a few years back, she inherited all of her mother’s and grandmother’s fabric and began quilting again. With every scrap of fabric evoking a memory, it seemed like everything she sewed came with a story.
When Abby moved to New Orleans in 2012, she reignited her love of woodworking. It only seemed natural that she used reclaimed wood – which is abundant in the city, to continue the tradition of making art with a past and a story.
Inspired by New Orleans' creative entrepreneurial spirit, Abby rented a studio and opened Cut Twice Design & Fabrication - living her dream of making things full time.
