This is a BIG round live edge slab coffee table! Please check dimensions at bottom, as pictures don't do it justice. This giant cross-section of a tree (aka: tree cookie, tree round, log slice, etc) came from an urban reclaimed Elm log. The wood has been darkened to a Black Walnut color through the careful usage of natural dyes. All efforts were made to warm the wood tones up without masking any of the natural wood beauty. Although it's Elm, anyone that sees it will think it is Walnut. The top rests on 3 steel hairpin legs. The legs have been clear coated for protection. This is a truly unique piece that would work well in any space, be it modern, traditional, mid century, rustic, shabby chic, beach themed, industrial, contemporary, etc. The wood has been planed flat, sanded smooth and finished in an oil and poly combo. The finish on this piece will protect it from moisture, scratches and heat. It's an incredibly stout, bold, strong and organically beautiful piece of furniture that will become the focal point of any living room or living space. This gorgeous coffee table is ready to ship!
