Rustic Shabby Chic Farmhouse Kitchen Island W/ Wine Rack
These stunning kitchen islands are made to order and can be built to any custom dimensions, layout and color requests. The featured island was finished in a distressed white. The wood plank top has been finished in a custom mixed worn honey maple and sealed with a durable zero VOC water based lacquer insuring a life time of low maintenance use. A custom built-in wine rack accomodates 10 bottles and 8 glasses. Lastly, two deep drawers running the entire depth of the island provide ample, easy access storage. The one thing I didn't think to ask about was if there would be some coat of protection over the wood besides the stain and there isn't one so I will have to coat it with polyurethane or some such myself. My living room will become a wood workshop for a day or so....
