The one thing I didn't think to ask about was if there would be some coat of protection over the wood besides the stain and there isn't one so I will have to coat it with polyurethane or some such myself. My living room will become a wood workshop for a day or so....

Dec 31, 2015It was wonderful to work with Jeremy! I have a monstrously large tv (husband's purchase....), and I wanted a beautiful piece of furniture on which to place it. I sent Jeremy the dimensions and colors of our home and he designed and built us a beautiful custom piece, in a very short period of time, at a more than reasonable price. He made suggestions to alter the design so it would be more in balance with the dimensions. I love the weathered, vintage, reclaimed look of it. Jeremy communicated throughout the process to make sure we were on the same page, sending me a photo of the piece mid-contruction. He built a custom crate, in which the furniture was delivered to my home. When it arrived, the corner of the crate was a bit pried open, but the furniture inside was carefully packaged, so there was no problem. We had the piece built without a back, but even so it is incredibly sturdy and solidly constructed. Thank you, Crabby Lion!
