The one thing I didn't think to ask about was if there would be some coat of protection over the wood besides the stain and there isn't one so I will have to coat it with polyurethane or some such myself. My living room will become a wood workshop for a day or so....

He was very easy to work with, responded promptly and was able to make a change to the dimensions early in the process. The project still completed on time.
