Classical Model : "Marta" Imagine a beautiful woman with class and elegance. Features than can only be appreciated as you approach her and get a closer look. She has a power and inner strength that makes her capable of anything, but her humbleness does not allow even her to know I've just described the sound of the "Marta" model and the woman it is named after, my mother. This model is available in different wood combinations, Spanish Cedar top, Redwood Cedar, German Spruce top with Indian Rosewood sides/back and binding, Macassar Ebony, Jatoba, flamed Mahogany, African Ebony bridge/fingerboard, and Honduras mahogany neck with Ebony insert and many other options and wood combinations. However, it is the inner bracing and set-up that distinguish this model. A fan bracing style taught to me by my father, used on many of the classical guitars he built. This gives this guitar the sustain and voicing that sets it apart in a commanding voice. The spruce top design has a strong punch and impact and the cedar has a warmth and depth that fills the room. One of our most popular models. The Classical "Marta" comes standard with a 650mm scale, 2" at the nut, with the features of a concert model. Our "Hybrid Marta" comes with the option of a radius on fingerboard or standard, and pick-up optional as well. The neck is thinner and more narrow. A cut-away, shorter custom scale and the "Delgado 18 hole bridge design" for no fuss string tying.
