I have been working with wood and other materials designing and building interior furnishings for residential, business as well as executive aircraft and fine yachts for more than three decades .

My work currently is a mixture of original designs and commissions which can be designed by others or in collaboration.
Working with a client is a valuable and satisfying part of the whole process for me.
bringing an idea to life gives everyone involved a piece of the final creation.

The work that I do is an integral part of my life,rather than a job. I think about designs and concepts for new work everywhere i go,it can be an obsession sometimes. I really see it as problem solving. Once an idea is in play,my mind is working on it until a good solution appears. then the actual building work can begin.
I stive to make the best use of the beautiful qualities inherent in the wood and meld them to a design that will make them shine.
The finish on apiece is also a very important aspect. My finishes are hand applied, mostly varnish and varnish/oil blends. rubbed to a fine luster.
