Another example of the process of illustrating. I work with my client and adjust the image as we go. In this case, the author told me he wanted a shelf in a child's bedroom with a candle glow. I first drew the shelf with the bear. He said he wanted a rabbit instead and asked for gauze curtains…..Working on my computer for these projects allow me to change elements of the drawing at any time until the vision is fulfilled.

Pastels, faces and color are my passion! Capturing "that look" in a portrait is what I strive for. My portraits are unique because I'd rather focus on the heart and soul or the mood of the face I'm drawing rather than making it photo realistic.
I have traveled internationally drawing my large portraits on the streets as a Madonnari but when I'm home in Southern California, it's nice to return to my drawing board and work on a somewhat smaller scale.
In addition to the portraits I create, I illustrate digitally creating logos and book illustrations. I am currently working on 3 completely different books. One book of poetry, one children's book and one end of the world zombie type thriller.
