A complete SET OF TEN (10) Chippendale chairs is available. These are based on photos of John Townsend's work in the early 1770s. Both the side and arm chairs are hand made with pegged thru-tenons, serpentine curved splats, ball and claw front legs and 10 coats of hand-rubbed shellac and wax finish … just as the Masters would have done. All chairs have been cut from 3 matching planks of beautiful Peruvian mahogany. They are ready for upholstery.
