Unique Square Tiled Wormy Chestnut King Bedroom Set
I have built a lot of stuff over the years, but hands down this is my favorite. It took a lot of time as is reflected in the price, but I promise this is one of kind. It is made of Wormy Chestnut and I stained half the tiles Light Brown (water based) and left half natural. I designed the dressers then kinda made a bed to match. I like the bed and its high quality, but when I stepped back after installing the drawers in the dressers I knew they were special and in many ways I got paid then. The mirror in the pics goes with a sofa table but I can build larger one to match the long dresser. The set includes : King Bed, Long Dresser, Tall Dresser, and 2 Night Stands Please note I sculpted the sides of the dressers and nightstands. I got this idea from an amazing designer/builder I saw on a tv show named Jory bingham.

Made by Marr Wood Working and Design is a small shop located in Bryson City, NC, which sits nestled in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. In fact, our shop is located just 1 mile from the Deep Creek entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. As such, we don't have to look far for inspiration from the natural environment.
We build unique pieces, but we will never sacrifice sound joinery and wood working practices just to produce something unique. We put a lot of pride in our work and provide our clients with pieces their family will enjoy for generations to come. We are a small shop that focuses on working hand and hand with our clients designing and building custom furniture and accessories.
