Native American Inspired Daybed Woven With Natural And Stained Wormy Chestnut
Handmade in Bryson City, North Carolina by Made by Marr Wood Working & Design
Seeing a native american basket gave me the idea of incorporating weaving into the design idea inventory. This is truly unique and a conversation starter, but conversation comes with a price…ie this isn't a cheap daybed. Fits a twin mattress.

We strive to build unique, but functional, pieces that are designed constructed to stand the test of time.
Made by Marr Wood Working and Design is a small shop located in Bryson City, NC, which sits nestled in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. In fact, our shop is located just 1 mile from the Deep Creek entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. As such, we don't have to look far for inspiration from the natural environment.
We build unique pieces, but we will never sacrifice sound joinery and wood working practices just to produce something unique. We put a lot of pride in our work and provide our clients with pieces their family will enjoy for generations to come. We are a small shop that focuses on working hand and hand with our clients designing and building custom furniture and accessories.
