Custom copper hood for a customer's kitchen remodel. The customer gave me a picture out of a magazine and, asked me to, "build one like this but change these things." I first draw the hood in CAD to make sure the customer and I have the same hood in mind.

I design and build unique kitchen and home metal pieces that you cannot simply go buy. Pieces I build include range hoods, chimney caps, copper counter tops, wrought iron tables, copper accent pieces, light fixtures, or anything else you can dream up. I can CAD design a kitchen hood for you like no other. I can incorporate the details you like about several different hoods onto one hood and then build it for you in the finish or patina you want.
I am located in Midland, Texas. I served in the Navy and am a graduate of University of Texas at Dallas. I have enjoyed metal working and manufacturing all my adult life and in 2013 I had the opportunity to go into business for myself so I did just that. I work from my home shop so that I am available to keep and eye on my two sons.
I am a machinist by trade but forming and welding copper has been a hobby of mine for several years before deciding to go into business building copper hoods.
Whether you are looking for a sleek modern look of stainless steel or a rough aged patina of copper, I can build you something unique.

For Custom Chimney Cap Using Customer's Repurposed CopperExceeded all expectations! Brett is amazing craftsman, taking an artistic rendering and making it reality. We had a very short timeline for this project, but Brett worked day and night to make it happen. This one-of-a-kind custom pagada chimney cap is now one of the most prominent features of our Distillery. I would use Brett again in a heatbeat for future custom projects - highly recommend! Thanks Brett!
