Thick maple top with natural edges on two long sides, and naturalistic carving on short ends rests comfortably in and on carved Cherry legs, each of which is different. The 4 inch thick solid slice of maple features subtle carved surface detail and the clear finish enhances the grain and protects the wood. One of a kind, never to be duplicated table or bench is a joy to see and to touch. A functional work of art.

I have lived on Bear Run Road, in the Appalachian mountains of West Virginia for 40 years--thus my business name BEAR RUN CRAFTS. I have made and built just about everything imaginable, from Christmas ornaments to kitchen cabinets to front doors. Salad forks to dining room tables to 8 room house.
During the 1990's I worked in a custom furniture shop, and have designed, built and installed fixtures in a spa/yoga studio and an art gallery in New York City.
My work is always one of a kind, made with my own artistic and creative tendencies blended with the recipients' desires and requirements.
I can arrange personal delivery of larger items, at certain times and to certain locations, depending on my (extensive!) travel schedule. We'll plan this together during the bidding and design process.
