Shown are a Walnut and Teak chest (24"x14"x14") a recycled and painted oak chest (19"x13"x15") and a small trinket chest made of zebrawood and sapele. Chests can have interior trays and dividers customized to whatever you can think. A beautiful and safe place for knitters to stash their yarn, needles and patterns. A stash box for your collectables, storage for blankets, linens etc. the possibilities are endless! Pieces feature handmade wooden hinges and handles, trays and dividers. I'm a fine arts graduate of The Cleveland Institute of Arts (BFA Painting/Printmaking) and Haywood Community College's Professional Crafts Program in Wood. I am a member of the Southern HIghlands Craft Guild and The Piedmont Craftsmen, Inc. I paint and make furniture and accessories. My CustomMade offerings are mainly furniture.
I am located in Western North Carolina, ground zero for furniture making in the United States. I have an abundance of interesting Eastern Hardwoods to choose from and sources for many exotics.
My furniture is all designed by me and follows simple lines and interesting materials.
