This crib quilt is made from 100% pure cotton flannel with cotton batting. I can make this quilt with either cotton, flannel or linen. Entirely hand quilted using natural cotton Japanese sashiko thread. The border is hand stitched using a double binding technique. This quilt measures 42 inches x 42 inches. The back of your quilt will not be identical to this. I do piece the backs of my quilts in an improvised way using similar colors from the front. A bold yet simple introduction to the concept of the four seasons. Colors can be selected different than this to still represent the different seasons. This modern crib sized quilt is designed after the timeless star quilt block. Sewn in Texas. American Made.

Campfire Quilts was born during a road trip from Texas to Canada with my family through the beautiful Rocky Mountains during the summer of 2013. The days were warm and the chilly nights by the campfire were welcomed with a quilt on my lap. Funny how the summer nights in Wyoming reminded me of the winter nights in Texas. A quilt is needed in all seasons!
Every one one of my quilts is hand crafted for strength and durability. In a time when we depend on machines, especially for bedding and linens, all my quilts are hand quilted with pure cotton Japanese sashiko thread. The piecing of the quilt top is done by machine, the actual quilting is by hand.
My one of a kind quilts are both art and craft. They are functional objects of beauty. They are meant to be used and loved, though they look stunning hanging on a wall, too. They are objects that become a part of your family's story, from staying warm under, building forts with, or using for those Sunday family picnics.
Built with care and precision, these quilts will become 'that thing' your children 'put their name on.' These are heirlooms.
I favor solid colored fabric for their timeless appeal and only work with purely natural fibers. This ensures your quilt will last for a long time.
