Live Edge Spaulted Pine Coffee Table

$425

This table is an absolute blast to build! This was a custom order by one of our prized customers. It is a live edge Spaulted Pine coffee table. The live edge slab was 32" in length, a variable 13"-18" width and 2" in thickness. Due to the Pine slab being spaulted in nature, it accepted the ebony colored stain perfectly and further, it created a very unique display in the natural grains. Additionally, there was a natural crack at the far end of the table. In lieu of breaking the piece off and changing the overall contour of the slab's edge, we elected to fill it with epoxy and secure it to the slab using decorative, inlaid bow ties made from Black Walnut. The table was finished with three coats of lacquer, which were sprayed on using HVLP sprayers. We used 16" black steel legs to give it a modern touch. This table fits in any sort of home or office decor, as there is an inherent rustic look with an added modern touch. Please note that if you wish to place an order for a table such as this, it must be noted that this table has already been sold and it is impossible to replicate the exact contours as shown on this table, as each slab has it's own unique edges.

About Me:

My name is Ryan, owner of Snhwoodworks. We have serviced the New England area since 2013 professionally and have been an avid woodworker since 2002. I attended the University of New Hampshire where I attained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and later received my Master of Business Administration Degree from the Southern New Hampshire University. Without question, woodworking and home remodeling is my passion!

About My Business:

Snhwoodworks has a fully equipped shop filled with all of the top of the line, high end woodworking/furniture/cabinetry building tools. Our primary vendor used for the purchase of our equipment is Jet Tools, however we do use others such as Powermatic, Grizzly and Rikon. We typically purchase our equipment from Rockler Woodworking. We purchase the majority of our lumber from Highland Hardwoods located in Brentwood, New Hampshire, but in a pinch, we will purchase from Cyr Lumber located in Windham, New Hampshire, as they have an excellent selection as well.

Currently, I am the sole full-time employee, however, we have a total of four members of the team that assist with different portions of the business. We have two shop security guards named, Meatball and Louise who are a Pug and an English Bulldog. They can often be found laying at the base of the bandsaw keeping the safety and security of the shop.

Services:

Snhwoodworks engages in the following services:

  • Custom, handcrafted, fine, wood furniture building.
  • Build and keep furniture pieces in stock, which are sold on our online store located at www.snhwoodworks.com.
    *Cabinet Making
    *Furniture restoration and refinishing.

Home remodeling services offered:

hardwood floor installation/refinishing, bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, tile installation/removal, crown molding/baseboard installation, finished carpentry, decks, cedar closet installation, and interior painting.

About My Work:

We at Snhwoodworks strive to put quality into our products at an affordable (and often times cheaper than in your cookie cutter furniture stores) price. Quite in fact, woodworking and home remodeling is a passion for us and is not considered work. We love to put a creative spin into our work. We work quickly to get our products out in a timely manner, but of course, not at the cost of quality. We use only the best lumber on the market and each board is hand selected by one of us. We recycle all wasted material and use it to build other things such as "Recycled Wooden Drink Coasters," or some other fun project that we feel people would like. We truly hope we have the opportunity to make your home a beautiful place where visitors will see and talk about for years to come. We hope to hear from you and thank you for your time and interest.
