Roping Saddle

$3,500

This saddle was built on an SF Bowman style tree. It has a cast aluminum roping horn with a number 2 head, 7/8 flat plate rigging with a 3.5 inch cantle. The saddle is dyed saddletan, hand-tooled in basket weave with a pencil roll cantle in bleached rawhide. I used 10 - 12 oz saddle skirting and 7/8 pile real sheepskin. The saddle strings go through the bars - the saddle is built the 'old' way, completely by hand. Approximate weight is 50lbs.
