The versatility and dynamism of metal along with the great satisfaction of a well executed technique is what both drew me to smithing, and what keeps me hammering out ideas for over two decades and counting. I like my work to celebrate the expertise of the trade from lost times through the filter of living in the 21st century- not just to make the observer comprehend what it takes to forge something out of hot 'iron' but to understand it's worth as a medium of reflection.
