Personal project created on 18 x 24 paper, using colored pencils. Inspiration from a nature documentary, worked utilizing photographs and other visual references. Similar type work can be created based upon clients requests.

About Me:
My name is Andy Shuping and I'm a former academic librarian and current student working on my MFA in Applied Cartooning at the Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, VT. My goal is to help the community (librarians, educators, businesses, health care professionals, etc.) connect to the comics and graphic novel community, and vice versa. I do this by teaching, making comics and art, writing, and consulting. I have over fifteen years experience working in the art world, seven years writing freelance, and a background in education.
About my work:
I have experience working in variety of mediums, including, but not limited to pastels, charcoal, colored pencils, graphite, markers, acrylics, and watercolors. Examples of my work, both fine art and comics, can be seen on my portfolio here.
