This was one of my very first projects. A queen anne secretary with bookcase top. Made from Mahogany and Poplar. Solid horton Brass hardware. Hand turned finials, hand cut dovetail joinery, several carvings (rosettes and fans) and finished with a hand rubbed oil.

Howdy! My name is Zack Schaffer and I am 25 and live/ work in my hometown of Jetmore KS. Out of high school I went to college and earned a degree in Technology Studies (pretty much construction, furniture, drafting). I have been professionally building furniture for 3 years now and I can honestly say I have found my passion. My "day job" is ranching cattle. My family has a farm and ranch so I find myself helping with that most of the time. In my spare time my wife seems to always have something for me to do and if that's not the case you can find me in the gym.
As far as my business goes I am a one man shop but don't let that scare you off. I am pretty quick with projects and being a one man show I can guarentee my furniture is built to the highest standards. I started off building Early American furniture with traditional joinery and a bit of carving so I feel very confident with hand tools. As time has passed I have moved to a bit more of a Mid Century style. With a background in virtually all types of furniture I can handle about any project you can come up with. If you would like something designed I would be happy to work with you till we come up with a product that you are happy with.
