This handmade, hardwood cabinet blurs the line between art and furniture. It has an open air, ergonomic design, and adjustable shelves to meet your needs. The sides are Japanese inspired lattices, with each horizontal form made of 12 glued and pressed strips, bent and sealed with epoxy resin (bent lamination). The lattices are two-sided, with Sapele on one side and Walnut on the other. The sliding doors are made from hand selected plane-sawn African ribbon Sapele hardwood, allowing the natural beauty of the wood to take front and center. There are 12 custom made adjustable feet to protect your floors. The piece is finished with Danish oil, polyurethane, and Liberon Bison Wax.

Keep Furniture is a Brooklyn-based small business (run by me, Steven Bennett). I make high-end furniture at an affordable price. Each piece is custom made from start to finish. I hand pick every piece of wood, and work with you along each step of the process to make something that feels personal to you that you’ll want to keep forever. I use locally sourced, sustainable hardwood.
I believe in making unique, ergonomic, minimalist designs that showcase, above all, the beauty of the wood. Furniture doesn’t have to be all rectangles and boxes.
