Osage Orange Stump Nightstand / End Table
This is a gorgeous Osage Orange stump stool nightstand! It is made from the base of the trunk and roots of an Osage Orange tree that we rescued from a logjam in a creek. Osage Orange is one of the hardest woods in North America and feels more like stone than it does wood. It's been professionally flattened and the top is glass-smooth. It has received a hand-rubbed traditional oil finish and is a sure conversation starter. Hand crafted in the USA. Dimensions of Top: 15" x 6" (irregular) Height: 18 7/8" Weight: 35 pounds Our wood products are always sustainably harvested from woodlands we own in Illinois. We take great pride in what we do and we care for our land. Removal of invasive species benefits the environment from limiting their spread and opening up land for native species to grow. Native species are typically cut as part of thinning operations to improve the quality of our woodlots.
