About Me:
I had been crafting paper and fabric lampshades as a hobby for several years. Upon retiring from my career in criminal justice in 2014 I had the opportunity to unleash all of my creative forces and craft fabric and multimedia lampshades full time.

While I do keep an eye on trends and am influenced by those I find appealing, there will always be a nod to the natural world in my designs. Some of my creations focus on pressed plant material that I gather and preserve here in Michigan. It is my goal to elevate the idea of a "flat plant" lamp shade from the perception of something found dusty and faded in grandma's attic to a modern and meaningful homage to the natural world with new techniques and ideas.

My lamp shades are not conservative, modern decor but are more intimate statement pieces for your reading nook, bedroom, cabin or meditation corner.

I hope my designs bring light and personality to the nooks and corners of your home.
