Infant Portrait: Ceramic Tile Relief With Poplar Frame
This custom ceramic relief portrait was commissioned by the parents of the child. Using photographs, I sculpted the relief, glazed, fired, and framed the piece. This piece is approximately 16" x 9" x 3". A french cleat is attached to the back of the piece for hanging.

I am a ceramic sculptor who focuses on hand-made reliefs and decorative tiles. I studied sculpture at Boston University which included hundreds of hours working from life models in drawing, painting, and sculpture.
