Over it's life the wood has accumulated imperfections that are unique and beautiful in so many ways. We do not distress or alter the color of the wood in any way but prefer to keep it looking as close to its original state as possible. The wood is carefully sanded and brushed where needed to ensure a safe and useable surface free of splinters and slivers.
