The concrete is gfrc meaning it has fiber and other addictive to make it stronger and durable. This is a highly finished design. The metal use for legs is repurposed from old oil tanks. We cut up the tanks to size, overly clean the, and then comes the hand finishing. The metal is treated in the photos with bronze. The coloring of the concrete can be change to suit your needs. Born and raised in the Bronx and always loved old wood structures but always had a creative streak. Started taking wood classes in high school eventually received a degree in building along with certificates in decorative concrete furniture and sustainable wood design.
Have done commercial cafes along with residential projects ranging from a single bathroom vanity to an entire bar room. I presently seek out all sorts of reclaimed woods, from 100 yr old Hudson valley barns to fallen tree logs that are milled and kiln dried. My work is more organic, as I prefer the natural bends and imperfections within the wood and design. Also have a strong background in concrete furniture fabrication and design along with metal.
