Restored 19th Century Ginger Jar

Mr. Kidd is a student of fine art and architectural history, having studied both here and abroad - at the Martelli Galleria in Florence, Italy,. He has taught extensively, including two years at the University of Tromsø, Norway, and the London School for Decorative Painting, he has given numerous master classes in Paris, Rome, Florence and Oslo in both painting and restoration. He is currently an adjunct professor at the University of the District of Columbia in Washington, where he teaches art and design.

Mr. Kidd has a passion for the history of art/architecture in western culture; specializing in their re-creation, restoration, and preservation through hands-on work, teaching and advocacy. His projects have ranged from the smallest gilded frames to entire buildings.
