Cordovan Leather Card Wallet With Embossed Celtic Knot
This wallet is dyed a rich dark brown, almost black color with hints of red. Contrasts beautifully with the light brown Ritza 25 Tiger thread and celtic knot. (lighting was off in photos, thread IS light brown, very similar to the color ot the knot) This case is hand-cut, hand-stitched, hand-dyed and has hand burnished/waxed edges all by me! The inside is lightly sanded for a velvety feel. It is made from firm 4oz vegetable tanned leather for a very slim profile yet VERY durable wallet. The leather will stretch to hold as many cards as you carry. I carry 5 cards on one side and 3 on the other. This wallet is made with quality material to last a lifetime, unlike the department store accessories that have to be replaced every year. Handmade leather items including Biker/Roper, front pocket and card wallets as well as phone and tablet sleeves. I use vegetable tanned leather due to it's non-corrosive nature with metal items. I use both linen and poly thread. My favorite thread is the heavy European Ritza 25 Tiger Tread. It is very high quality and easy to produce excellent results consistently. I hand-stitch everything, I don't even own a sewing machine! The edges can be left unfinished or finished. My methods are that of the traditional saddle maker.
