Display Case - Modular And Expandable
A local bakery was expanding and had out grown the original pastry case I made for them 5 years ago so they asked me to design a bigger one with more shelves. With expansion and further business growth in mind I designed a modular display case that could easily be expanded in the future. I made brackets out of durable gorgeous Pacific Big Leaf Maple that support custom tempered glass shelves and sides with slots for easy removal of glass shelves allowing each section to have 1,2 or 3 shelves as desired. Each bracket uses hidden mortise and tenon joinery for strength and durability in a commercial environment and is sealed with a non toxic food safe finish. When the bakery expands again all they need is another wood bracket and more glass.
