Hand Turned Vessels made from reclaimed wood. These vases diverted wood from landfills! they have a gorgeous milk paint finish and wax polish that is not only environmentally friendly and durable, butlooks like a ceramic glaze. Most people who see these in person don't even realize they are wood and are amazed to find out they are not ceramic! they are beautiful on there own as art objects but they do have waterproof interiors for fully functional vase use!

Studio G is the design and custom fabrication practice of artist, Greg Simons, in Portland, OR. We specialize in unique projects that meld art and design with function and a sense of history. I love working one on one with customers to bring their vision into real form and to give form to their functional need.
With a wide array of abilities in metal fabrication and woodworking - including wood turning- I can make just about anything you dream up happen. Whether its making unique furniture, architectural elements or housewares, it's the creative problem solving inherent in custom work that I thrive on.
