Reclaimed Fir & Mahogany

This is a really interesting dining table & bench set made for a kitchen dining area. I worked closely with my clients to get just the right wood species and stain colors to blend seamlessly with their existing decor. It was important to the clients that the natural beauty and texture of reclaimed wood be a highlight of these pieces so together we arrived at this design where richly textured reclaimed Fir intersects and compliments a dark clean and smooth African Mahogany. The solid Mahogany legs add an appropriate visual weight while fir strips add more contrast, texture and an architectural and modern quality.
