This beautiful solid Walnut Strip table with Metal Base is completely built by hand. Walnut is one of my absolute favorite domestic hardwoods to work with and is also a customer favorite at our showroom. We sell many of these tables and it is such a pleasure for me to build. Keep in mind that we can make this same table using a few different species of wood including Knotty Alder, Ash, Hickory and Exotics. Please inquire within for prices. Custom sizes (outside of this listing) are no problem; all you have to do is contact me with your dimensions for a quote. Our goal is to make it look like you had your house built around your table! My current build time is 4-6 weeks. Remember that this table is built to order, so please expect some slight variation in your top's color and grain appearance – all wood is different. Shipping is $150 – this includes wrapping, palletizing and freight service to your nearest terminal anywhere in the 48 states. If you prefer door-to-door delivery, there may be an increase in price (due to lift gate and residential fees). Founded in 2015 by Ken Schumacher, KS WoodCraft gained attention for its unique design offerings as well as a myriad of available hardwoods that range from US Domestic to worldly Exotics, and with a sustainable approach by offering unique reclaimed and live edge hardwoods. TENANTS OF OUR DESIGN
NARRATIVE- Our focus is designing and building products with a form follows function approach. We work with our clients to fully understand the purpose of each project, the function of each piece and any constraints. This allows our pieces to check all of the boxes and fit as though the room was built around it.
CRAFTSMANSHIP- We continue to collectively hand build all our pieces in our McKinney workshop. Our creative approach - from concept, design engineering, sourcing and fabrication - embodies a very careful attention to detail and quality in every step.
SUSTAINABILITY- We search far and wide for different reclaimed hardwoods. Some of our collection includes 600-year-old French Oak and 300-year-old Venetian Oak. We often marvel at the history that this wood has experienced. We also have local Cotton Mill wood that pairs very well with our metal fabrications.
BUDGET – We like to offer our furniture in a tiered approach. Since each piece is truly unique and hand built, we can offer different materials that have different price points. We try to work within our client’s budget whenever possible.
