This wonderful woman is a fellow artist, teacher and friend and I must thank her for patiently sitting while I captured my beautiful subject. This artistic bust was hand sculpted by Russian Artist, Ludmila Ketchersid (USA). This plaster piece measures approximately 18-1/2" high x 12" wide x 10" deep and weighs approximately 12 pounds. This item is not for sale but is for example only. You can request a custom order by contacting me via Etsy and discussing your specifications, desired color material and finish before you order if you are unsure of the ordering process. I just need 6 to eight pictures (front, back, both sides, some 1/4 side shots and 1 picture from above). The pictures will help me to capture the true expression and details of the subject since I can't meet them in person. There is a choice of Black Clay, Red Clay or White Porcelain material. There is also a choice of a Shiny Glaze Finish, Bisque Matte Finish or a Crackle Shiny Glaze Finish. This sculpture is very close to a life size bust. I will be glad to discuss all specifications to make sure you are completely satisfied and happy with your order. Once you have ordered your item and I have received your pictures of the person and their background (prop) specifications, I can then begin my work !!! Remember, depending on the subject specifications, the type of material and the choice of glaze, it will take 4 to 6 weeks. Some items may have longer drying times due to the material and may take two kiln firings due to the finish while other orders may actually be completed more quickly. This is definitely a one-of-a-kind, original and unique artistic piece and would make a fantastic and personal gift for someone special !!!
