This original piece approximately measures 32.5" wide x 32.5" high x 3/4" with the frame while the art display area is 21" wide x 21" high x 1/4" deep without the mat and frame. The heavy framed piece is under mat and glass and weighs 15 pounds while the back is reinforced with plexiglas and a metal bracket to prevent warping. There are two metal hanging brackets attached via screws with washers supporting the attached heavy gauge picture wire. The solid wood frame is painted in a dark green/black with matte satin gold accents and the dark teal step down beveled mat enhances the lively colors of the art.
