Wheel Hand Pulled, Red Clay, Glazed Top, Decorative, Breathable, 2 Jugs W Corks

$40

Overview •Handmade item •Materials: Wheel Hand Pulled, Natural Red Clay, Glazed Handle Rim Top, Brown Tan Colors, Two Corks, Artist Signed and Dated The two decorative jugs were hand pulled using red clay on a wheel and top/rim glazed by Russian Artist Ludmila Ketchersid (U.S.A.) in 2003. Each jug is signed (artist's registered logo) and dated. The red clay has a natural textured surface while the melted glaze enhances the handle and rim adding a little shine. The large jug approximately measures 5-1/2"H x 3-1/4"W (Diameter Base) & weighs 1 pound, 2 ounces while the small jug is 4-1/4"H x 3"W (Diameter Base) & weighs 13 ounces. These cute little jugs are quite substantial & weigh almost 2 pounds total ! These decorative jugs are not meant for liquids because they are breathable. They are great for drying herbs and seasonings because the clay acts as a sponge and wicks away the moisture. These artist created, one of a kind jugs can add that rustic feel to your decor while storing those precious spices!!! And what a neat and original gift for that someone special who loves to cook !!!

Hello, My name is Ludmila and I'm a Russian born artist that relocated to the United States. Although I got my degree in ceramics in Moscow, I enjoy working with all types of mediums and materials. I'm inspired by just about anything, and once I get an idea I don't let the materials limit me. I have a passion to create.

StudioLuda offers large hand carved bas reliefs, sculptures, oil paintings, hand drawn graphite portraits, ink graphics, small tiles, barrettes, necklaces and magnets. All the items are artistically designed, hand created, and studio kiln fired using the finest mediums of porcelain, clay, plaster, resin, wood, bone, metal, canvas, paints, leads, oils, inks; and on occasion, reclaimed objects.

I love working with my customers to make sure my creative efforts bring their visions to life. I want my customers to be happy with the end result!
