Suburban Living Room
We designed this room to be a show piece. Originally there was only a large brick fireplace. These cabinets were made by hand specifically for this room. They were constructed of solid poplar and birch plywood. Designed in a traditional style with elegant additions they are beautiful. They include cherry main shelves, banded middle shelves, beadboard backs and multiple crowns. With the addition of the wood lined coffered ceilings this became my favorite project to date.

I am a second generation woodworker. My father was in the business for 40 years. I have worked in all phases of carpentry . Over the past 8 years I have gravitated to fine cabinetry and furniture.
OCW is a one man operation. I design and build all my pieces. The finest hardwoods and cabinet grade plywoods are used on every project. Designing and building original pieces is my favorite part of the woodworking business. But the challenge of making a new piece fit perfectly with period elements is a close second. I make alot of the mouldings used, which adds some originality to my work. I strive for perfection and build everything as if it were for me.
I have worked on multiple projects with Cebula Design of Newburyport in the past and continue to do so. A table which I designed for them was part of a Prism Award winning kitchen in 2014.
