Here we have a Field Notes/Moleskine cover made of Chromexcel Black leather. The cover can also hold 2 to 4 cards (or more once it stretches) and it has a pouch under the card holders. Item will come with a random Field Notes or Moleskine depending on what I have on hand at the moment.

I have been doing leatherworking as a hobby for about 7 years and I'm at the point of my life where I would like to make this my full-time job (career). I have been selling my creations for about 8 months now and I have had a pretty good response. What really pushed me to try and make this my main source of income was a Kickstarter I did in February of 2015 where I raised more than one thousand dollars. That money helped me get better tools and also used the money to try and expand my business, a website, and more business cards for example.
I can do anything with leather but I concentrate on the smaller stuff, wallets, notepad covers, knife sheaths, pouches, etc… I can do custom work just let me know.

Apr 7, 2017I ordered a Handmade Horween Chromexcel Black Leather Field Notes/Moleskine Cover Wallet from Jose', recently. Unfortunately, I never did verify the overall dimensions of the finished item and when I received it I loved everything about it: craftsmanship, finish, beautiful to hold and look at--except, it was too wide and tall, for my preference, so I emailed Jose' and requested a re-work of the piece--even admitting that it was my fault, not his. His response was just as positive as when I ordered the wallet: "No problem." I offered to pay him for the re-cutting, but he beat me by offering to RE-MAKE my wallet, if it didn't meet my approval! Every email was met with a, "Can Do" attitude, and it was such a pleasure. I received the modified/new wallet and it is exactly what I wanted.
