Arts & Crafts Style Hammered Copper Floor Lamp With Mica Shade
Inspired by van Erp, the Arts & Crafts Movement and of course, the great coppersmiths, this lamp is made by the eldest and wisest of the makers in the family. Expect high quality hand hammered copper, with evenly spaced rivets. He can offer a round base or an oval base. There is also an option to have a fixed height or an adjustable height, which gives you several inches either way. The height is typically around 57", the shade is 15" with a 23" diameter. You may also choose from 3 or 4 pull chain sockets. The wiring is US standard, the cord is a twisted antique rayon. When you invest in one of these lamps, you're investing in a man's dream and his passion to live and do what he loves, even at age 75.

Elite Design and Fabrication, Inc is made up of three generations of "makers". Each one brings their own amazing ability to create exceptional works in all types of media.
The oldest and wisest maker is Constantin. He grew up working in an art studio in Romania with his father and grandfather, and I've heard he was carving in marble as a young child. He attended art school in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. After coming to the US in the early 80's he began working as a restoration expert, and has had the pleasure to work with many big names, I dare say his favorite was Joan Rivers.
Next in the family of makers is Mike, son of Constantin, and the apple that didn't fall far from the tree. As his father did, he spent his time in the studio learning and creating from a young age. He went on to operate the family art foundry for many years and today runs Elite Design and Fabrication, Inc.
Last, but not least, in this family of makers is Rhiannon, the painter, daughter of Mike. Still attending school, this maker is well on her way to becoming a skilled painter. She has won several contests and exhibits her work at a local gallery several times a year.
