Wine Barrel Picture Frame
These picture frames are made by preserving the natural charring present in the original wine barrel and using it to add unique patterns to the frames. Special care is given to produce the frame and maintain the natural and rustic elements of the barrel, such as the curve of the staves. The frame size is 24" X 34", and accommodates 20" X 30" photos. Photographs are available for the frames that feature vineyards throughout the Napa Valley. These picture frames are hand made in the Napa Valley entirely from oak wine barrels retired from premium wineries in the Napa Valley. It is hand made by a 20+ yr veteran woodworker using premium joinery.

I started woodworking about age 7 in my dads old shop. I still remember the day I realized I was tall enough for the table saw! I love working with wood, and believe that fine woodwork is a bridge between nature and mankind. I also believe that all furniture and projects should be heirloom quality.
I am a professional, degreed, winemaker, but was student of mechanical engineering, architecture, machining, and woodworking first. I have just recently been able to acquire the tooling for my own home shop, and have been producing many projects for my own house and work.
I am really excited to be able to produce quality products for great people. I am looking mostly to cover the cost of my tooling, and to allow me to invest in even better tooling.
