Revision Conference Table

$12,000

The reVision line is for those who seek handcrafted, modern design, and local connection. It is designed, produced, and marketed by teens employed at Boston-based Artists For Humanity. Our custom-designed conference tables offer an amazing opportunity to bring your company's vision, branding, messaging or design aesthetic to the surface of a handmade table base. Via our uncommon, collaborative design process, teens work alongside our professional artist mentors to produce extraordinary products. The sample shown collages old and new maps of the City of Boston into a historical timeline of the City's changing neighborhoods. You can also take advantage of our extensive fine art print collection to collage a table surface. The images are encapsulated in a low VOC epoxy resin and set into a contemporary steel base. Work with us to build a table that fits your space and creates a platform for sharing your company's vision. Through this process, you will support an amazing studio of teen designers and makers who are gaining valuable experience through their employment at Artists For Humanity. Dimensions: 10' x 3' 4" Please contact us to build your unique table top design and custom base. Shipping is quoted separately and depends on final design parameters.

Since 1991, Artists For Humanity (AFH) has been offering paid employment in art and design to under-resourced teens. From our humble beginning, we have grown into the largest onsite employer of Boston teens, with approximately 250 employed in the visual arts and creative industries annually.

Working across four creative studios - painting, digital media (graphics, photography, video & motion), 3D design and screen printing – teens immerse in the design process with their mentors and learn how dedication to the creative process, with an eye toward emerging trends, results in high quality, marketable products.

One of our teen participants commented on the design and maker process involved in the development of our new furniture line, reVision.

“It was not an easy process, but it certainly gave me insight into how much work goes into a single piece of furniture. Being part of the process not only added to my skills in building and using tools, it also added onto my life tools, which I can use every day.”

Follow us on Custom Made as we offer you a part of our handcrafted journey, working with a talented and dedicated group of young people who come to AFH after school every day to work and learn, to grow as artists and students, and to improve themselves and their world.
