In designing these lights I intended on utilizing two of the best properties of glass, namely that it bends and distorts light as well as sand etched glass appears to be illuminated from within. Each light is hand made by the artist by first blowing the glass traditionally. Afterwards the glass is masked and sand etched to create the finish on the bottom of the lights. Small Dimensions: Approximately 6" diameter x 6.5" height Large Dimensions: Approximately 8" diameter x 9" height These lights come with black hardware and 5' cord that can be shortened to desired length during installation. All electrical components are UL listed. Standard size light bulbs of any type (cfl, incandescent, or LED) up to a total of 60watts can be used. Note* if you desire more light in your space it is recommended to use LED or CFL lighting because you can get more lumens for less wattage than traditional incandescent lights.
