3 panels @ 29" x 79" x 1 1/2" thick connected by eye bolts and pins. All wood parts are industrial plywood that resembles high grade Baltic Birch or Russian Birch plywood. The many fine layers of the boards' edges are interesting by themselves thus making tedious edge banding unnecessary. These shoji screens are a flatter and lighter version of the other room dividers offered in this collection. Widths of the shoji screens are also available in widths of 14", 19", 24", 29", 34", 39", and 44". The shoji screen kits are available in any number of panels.

Herb lives his dreams to bring inventions from concept to finished product in the design studio and woodworking shop named Ever DesignWorks. The business draws from Herb’s extensive design and hands on experience. In addition to mastering all types of carpentry and high-end cabinet installations, Herb has a professional degree in architecture from the Boston Architectural College. While studying architecture Herb realized he has talent in the arts as well, especially sculpture. While practicing architecture in a large Boston design firm on large public projects, Herb was among a small group in the early 1990’s who pioneered 3D computer modeling for complex building projects.
Herb works with his wife Gina to imagine new furniture and devices as well as uses for new and reclaimed wood. He takes great pleasure and pride in exploring via 3D drawing, then building the results in his fully equipped woodworking shop in Saxonville MA. Yes, we do custom orders. If needed, we will factor in some time to settle on a final design.
Ever DesignWorks strives to use materials destined for the landfill especially reclaimed or "up-cycled" wood. We actively seek local sources of quality materials to re-purpose into unexpected functional furniture. We are most interested in our version of the rustic and industrial look which we often combine with flashy heavy duty industrial grade hardware and high quality glass tops.
