Jellyfish On The Move
This is a stained glass mosaic of a jellyfish swimming through the ocean. It is made of stained glass, coral, shells, antique buttons, boro glass pieces and various other treasures. I used a lot of iridescent glass so the jellyfish appears to be moving as you walk around it. It is framed in a kelp bed forest with garibaldi fish peaking in. The time to complete this project is greater than 12 weeks.It will take approximately 5 months. This mosaic is sold but a custom piece can be made for you.

I am a mosaic artist who does indoor and outdoor one dimensional mosaics that are made using stained glass and various hidden treasures… boro glass pieces, antique buttons, shells, stones, antique jewelry +++ and other finds. I can do smaller pieces but most of my pieces are 3' X 4' or larger.
I am 62 and have done art my whole life but only started doing mosaics about 10 years ago. There is something magical about glass and I have always been attracted to it. When I started doing mosaics I found my true love. I continue to grow with it and will be trying some 3 dimensional pieces soon.
