36 Or 46 Inch Solid Cedar Fan Benches
These Cedar Fan Benches (four in serpentine pattern, two shown in S shapes and a single bench; each sold separately) are for Year Round Indoor or Outdoor Use! Each hand-crafted Cedar Fan© Bench or Table is made from western red cedar in natural or stained to your personal preferences. There are two standard versions: The bench is 46" Wide x 16 1/2" Seat Depth x 17 1/2" High. Custom sizes are also available upon request. Please note that Western Cedar has a rough grain surface which enhances the beauty of the piece. To minimize roughness, the seat edges are rounded smooth and the surfaces are lightly sanded. The pieces and colors shown are in Red Oak, Olympus Green and Red with UV Sealer applied. Color and grain patterns will vary depending upon the wood used. The piece can come in Natural with Clear Sealer, Red Oak (shown), Ebony, Olympus Green (shown), Dark Walnut, Mahogany, Moon Blue, Maple, Pine, Cherry, Red (shown), Chestnut or custom colors upon request. If kept outside in direct sunlight year round, a UV sealer is recommended at no additional charge. Shipment will be approximately 3 weeks if not in stock due to backlog and fabrication. The individual fan pieces are attached to each other and the apron using galvanized wood screws (approximately 60). The legs are secured by 12 lag bolts; two on each side leg and 4 on the middle leg. Also the corners of the aprons are reinforced and optional feet are added to the bottom of the legs. The legs are made from 2" x 4" boards. These features insure the piece is very strong, sturdy and durable for many years of indoor or outdoor enjoyment. When ordering multiple benches, optional brackets can be provided to secure the benches into a single section (See the picture of the bench underside). Shipping is to the West Coast. A refund is provided if cost is less when shipped. The cedar bench is designed and built to be placed inside, outside on a patio or in the garden area for year round use. Multiple benches can be put together to form semicircles, approximate circles, S-shapes or placed around corners or trees. As previously noted, the fan planks are secured to a cedar frame with screws for strength and rigidity (See picture of underside). Each of the five legs is secured to the frame with lag bolts, lock and flat washers. The piece is shipped with the five legs removed for economy. Each leg is marked for easy re-assembly to the top. Each bench/table has been completely assembled to insure proper fit and finish before packing and shipment. Custom sizes can be provided, so please contact us with your stain, finish, length and use preferences so we can provide an estimated price (different length) and delivery schedule.

For Custom Mr2 Solid Cherry Shadowbox Bookcase4.8My wife and I searched hard for a "Shadowbox Bookcase" for our living room. All we found were particle board monstrosities, or overpriced manufactured hollow versions. We wanted something in solid hardwood, preferably cherry. Rick provided this. His quote was reasonable, his design was exactly what we requested, and his communication was outstanding. He started and completed the project on schedule. Delivery was timely. There was a small glitch in the delivery, and Rick apologized profusely for this, but it was totally out of his control, and I believe him when he says that it had never happened before with this shipper. We managed to take delivery of the item, which was exceedingly well wrapped and protected. We are proud to have a custom piece of Rick Ricks craftsmanship in our living room.
