Solid White Oak Desk Or Table With Drawer In Variable And Custom Sizes
New Item! This mr2 Desk is made of solid white oak, stained to your preference and finished with high quality lacquer (satin, semi-gloss or gloss finish). The desks shown are Dark Walnut and natural. The desks sizes with drawer and solid oak pull are as follows: 44" W x 23" D x 31" H with 2 1/4" H x 14" W x 14" D (Inside Dimensions) Drawer 48" W x 28" D x 31" H with 2 1/4" H x 16" W x 18" D (Inside Dimensions) Drawer 54" W x 28" D x 31" H with 2 1/4" H x 18" W x 18" D (Inside Dimensions) Drawer 60" W x 32" D x 31" H with 2 1/4" H x 20" W x 22" D (Inside Dimensions) Drawer 72" W x 32" D x 31" H with 2 1/4" H x 24" W x 22" D (Inside Dimensions) Drawer Minor changes in dimensions can be made without additional charges. Or… we can provide custom desks to meet your specific needs. The desk is made from rough hewn 4/4 and 8/4 oak boards that have been planed to the final thicknesses. All of the surfaces are then fine sanded, stained and finished with multiple coats of polyurethane. Samples of the finished wood are sent to the customer for approval prior to finishing. The top is made from 4/4 hardwood boards which have been secured together with biscuits and wood glue for maximum strength. The top is secured to the apron with angled brackets and screws. The leg assemblies are secured to the table top in boxed slots by two 1/4" lag screws for maximum rigidity. The two legs are attached together by a cross bar which was secured with 1/4" x 4" lag screws and covered in hardwood dowels. The table ships with the two leg assemblies disassembled. Each piece is individually bubble wrapped and multiple layers of cardboard are used for maximum protection in shipping. Shipping and insurance costs are estimated for delivery to the West Coast. If the cost is less, a refund would be provided. This table comes in Pumpkin Pine, Black, Olympic Green, Dark Walnut, Mahogany, Maple, Pine, Russet Oak, Natural, Cherry or a color of your choice. The finish can be satin, semi-gloss or gloss. Custom item, shipment would be dependent upon backlog. I had a custom job request and even after approval of his drawing, he re-worked one small item to add stability to the book shelf (of which I never would have noticed nor thought-of, plus I already signed off on it - how often does that happen in life?!). He clearly cares about his work and shows judgment of a true professional. He sent me 4 samples of the stains to ensure I liked the color of the piece; he sent pictures throughout the process, at each step and I know I will love the piece after I open it. I haven't had a chance to open/inspect the final product due to work on my house but I would definitely work with him again (and will update my review after my house isn't torn apart).

For Custom Mr2 Solid Cherry Shadowbox Bookcase4.8My wife and I searched hard for a "Shadowbox Bookcase" for our living room. All we found were particle board monstrosities, or overpriced manufactured hollow versions. We wanted something in solid hardwood, preferably cherry. Rick provided this. His quote was reasonable, his design was exactly what we requested, and his communication was outstanding. He started and completed the project on schedule. Delivery was timely. There was a small glitch in the delivery, and Rick apologized profusely for this, but it was totally out of his control, and I believe him when he says that it had never happened before with this shipper. We managed to take delivery of the item, which was exceedingly well wrapped and protected. We are proud to have a custom piece of Rick Ricks craftsmanship in our living room.
