Loft Style Beds

$3,500

this is a loft style bed made out of solid wood, the bed it self is mortised and tenon into the 4x4's for a solid support system. the mattress ( not included) rest on 3/4 plywood. The options are unlimited with the design of your choice. especially for the work station beneath, being on the left or the right and for the options of shelves or drawers. All I had to go on with this build was a magazine picture of a bed my sister wanted to have made of real wood for her loving daughter. The one at the store she saw first hand was made of composite materials " Not Wood"

I started in the building trades at 14-years- old. My father was a general contractor and furniture maker; he started me out simple with making picnic tables and Adirondack chairs. When I was twenty-years-old I went to the International Masonry Institute, where my knowledge about the foundation of building was honed. Then for about ten years I worked for my father and also did "shut downs" at paper mills and refineries in the Pipe Fitting and Iron Worker trades. These varying experiences helped me to have a more diverse background over time. In 2004 I went to Iraq and built camps for our troops. After the camps were established to house 2,000 + Troops there was a need to build furniture, with thorough research on the internet I started designing furniture and creating templates for mass production. After 27 months in Iraq I returned home to run my father's business and started making furniture for my family. After a couple of years within my father's passing and the vacancy created from his absence, I could no longer work his business. So I took a job with a larger world wide corporation as a Quality Assurance technician, but all the while I had a desire to get back to wood working and expressing myself through the artistic craft. So in 2014 I built my Fiance an Adirondack Guide Boat. Having completed this challenge successfully, and with the support of all my friends and family, I am now putting myself out there for You. So please challenge me and my creativity and skills, to fulfill your request for "Real Wood" Custom Designed Furniture. She is not selling her Guide Boat but I will build one to your specifications on Commission of half down and half upon completion.
