About Me: I live and work along the beautiful Suncoast of southwest Florida. My first candle was made with a candle making kit from Walmart. My work space was a small TV tray in the corner of the kitchen. As soon as I made that first candle, I knew someday I was going to turn candle making into a business. I bought a few supplies, made three or four basic candles and put them on Etsy. Three years later, I had a little shop in the back of my house and have expanded my line to several dozen creative style candles and adding more every month. My candles are listed on multiple online marketplaces, I have my own e catalog, a wholesale website, and I sell locally at shows and in small boutiques and have begun expanding to provide fundraisers.
I am looking forward to the next phase; opening my own retail store and well as selling wholesale nation wide.

About Sharon's Candle Shop:
I find inspiration for new candle designs in everything around me; colors, textures, designs, household products, and of course nature. My favorite are the beach inspired candles.

   My candles are hand poured from natural vegetable waxes, including soy, palm, cottonseed, coconut.  I only use a vendor for palm wax that gets his waxes from  renewable sources and are members of the Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oils.  I use hemp or cotton core wicks for a cleaner burning candle.  The candles are scented all the way through.  A UVB inhibitor is used to slow color fading.  I love doing custom orders.  Any candle in my line can be customized by changing the color, fragrance and in some cases size; or I will work with you to create a truly one of a kind candle.  With access to hundreds of molds or containers, hundreds of colors and thousands of fragrances and essential oils, including custom blended colors and fragrances - the design possibilities are nearly endless!
