As you can see in the photos, you can choose to have either the smooth side that shows some great color and lines or the rough cut side that still has the saw marks. Pick whichever suits your taste! It's simple - I enjoy all things handmade. It started with a house. I spent a year on a full remodel of our home in Dallas, and once that was done, my attention turned to other hands-on, creative and repurposing projects.
I started with leather working and while that is still a favorite pastime, I've begun to thoroughly enjoy woodworking. There are two parts of the process that I really enjoy - first, the thrill of he hunt; finding used, weathered, or otherwise previously purposes wood. Then, I love watching it come to love all over again; wood that someone else has written off is turned into a beautiful table, stool, or other furniture.
